What are the following? Define or describe what an object looks like in each mode and why you might need to use that mode instead of the other three.
Vertex mode
Edge Mode
Object mode
Face mode
vertex mode on an object looks like blue lines with little purple dots on each vertices. We use this mode to further define our object. We could use this mode more than the others because this mode lets us define the object in better detail.
The object in Edge Mode is outlined in blue lines. we can use this mode to make spokes and other more complicated objects.
Object Mode is the basic mode you are in. The object looks shaded with green lines. We use this mode more than the others because in this mode we can rotate, move, and scale the whole object.
Face Mode looks like edge mode but has little blue dots in the middle of each "face". We use this mode to work on individual faces on the object. This is the only mode in which we can manipulate the faces and make more complex shapes.

A woman lives on the tenth floor of an apartment building. Every morning she takes the elevator all the way down, and goes to work. In the evening, she gets into the elevator, and, if there is someone else in it she goes back to her floor directly. Otherwise, she goes to the seventh floor and walks up three flights of stairs to her apartment. why?
Give two possible solutions to the question.
In the evening she is tired and rides the elevator with some one else.
she is full of energy and needs to burn it off.

There are four people in an adventure race that need to get across a lake. They have a small canoe. The rules say that only the slowest person in the canoe can paddle, only one or two can be in the canoe at a time, and they must all cross in the canoe. From practice, they know that: Ann can paddle across in 1 minute. Bill can paddle across in 2 minutes. Sue can paddle across in 5 minutes. Mike can paddle across in 10 minutes.
How do they get everyone across the river in the fastest time without breaking the rules?
Mike and sue go first which would take 10 minutes. sue goes back which will take 5 min. and she takes back bill. bill goes back for ann and they made it.

Often when designing a story, we can get pigeon holed into a character even though there are better options available, if we would just take the time to explore.
Today modify your protagonist's physical appearance. If he/she/it is ragged make them a royal. I f they are big and buff, make them small and agile. If they look brash and dangerous like a viking warrior, make them quiet, classy and reserved like a british solider.
Look how you could enhance your story by altering your characters appearance.
my character is a serious person but comes off as a jumpy, comedic, hyper person

Resolution
Every conflict must at some point (or at multiple points) reach a resolution.
It my not be the end of the story, or the ultimate end of the conflict, but it should bring some closure.
It may resolve well or poorly, but there should always be a resolution or a perceived resolution that a player can struggle towards.
Without that hope, players will flounder off track or simply give up.
How does the conflict in your story resolve.
The character resolves his conflict by having the determination "you" give him. You can give him that final push to make him overcome the conflicts in his life.

Conflict
Describe a typical conflict that your character faces during your story.
It can be physical, emotional, psychological.
It can involve other players, NPCs, or a mental or physical challenge such as a puzzle or obstacle.
The conflict your character will face will be physical, psychological, and emotional. All three of these aspects revolve around your character everyday of his life. His physical conflict will come from weight training, conditioning, and practice. His emotional conflict affects his decisions and actions around his life. This also affects the way he will perform on and off the mat. The psychological aspect is his biggest obstacle because he has to have it in his mind to train and wrestle like a champion.

Journal #20
Yesterday you began to elaborate on the summary you created on day 13. Continue doing that today.
The summary gives you the basics on which you can hang the details of your story.
Over the next few days, you will add muscle and flesh to your story.
Tell us more about the bits and pieces that you gave us previously.
Using a narrative format, weave the summary into a story.
As before, you are in high school training to be a state champion and overcoming obstacles in your way. "John Doe" faces emotional conflict trying to balance relationships and school work.

Your character was a wrestler ever since he was four. He worked throughout the pain and tears of practice and miles of cardio training. You are a freshman in high school and the state championship is in your grasp for 4 straight years. However you accumulated many rivals on your way to be a champion.

Yesterday you described the physical aspects of your games antagonist.
Today tell us about the antagonist's psychological past and how it affects who he/she/it is today.
What has the character gone through that has made him/her/it who they are today? Are they insane? Misunderstood, fighting for an alternate good? Greedy, power hungry? Or just plain mean?
This is not written to create suspense, it should help you understand your character, write everything you know about your character.
My antagonists have many different backgrounds. About the only thing they all have in common is that they all have a wrestling background. All of them have done wrestling since they were very young and have progressively gotten better. All the antagonists are mean on the mat, like you are supposed to be. Every one is fighting for the same goal of being a NCAA National Champion. All the characters have gone through sweat and tears to be a state champion and make it to the NCAA finals.

Yesterday you described the protagonist
Today tell us about the physical aspects of the main antagonist/bad guy/ boss.
You may have many little "bad guys" but there should be one main boss.
Tell us about hoe he/she/it looks physically just as you did with the protagonist.
If your story wont have an antagonist character, tell us about a secondary character that your story will have.
Is that character helpful or harmful to the protagonist.
The little "bad guys" I guess you can say is all of the opponents you will wrestle as you go through the season. These "bad guys" will look like the actual wrestlers from that year. The main "boss" will be whoever you wrestle at the NCAA finals. Again he will look like his actual counterpart from that year.

On friday you created the summary idea for a game.
Today create a short write up describing the physical characteristics of the protagonist/hero.
For my game, you are the protagonist. what I mean by that is the way your character looks is totally up to you. Hair, skin, eyes, strength, age, clothes, etc. is fully customizable.

Write the intro scenario for a new game.
Your story starts as the protagonist walks into a large dimly lit, musty chamber. He/she/it sees a huge alien black cylinder glowing softly in the center of the room.
He/she/it walks over and touches it. The room begins to crumble. Dark and intense music plays, the screen fades to black and the gameplay begins...
Write an outline of the story that leads up to the scene above.
An easy mission to repair a docking station around Iris 4. John Miller, an expert laser technician, is called to complete the repairs. while walking around the station he finds out that things are not right and that most of the crew is gone.

File compression works by finding repeating elements and encoding them using a key.
eg: the three kids threw the ball through the theater.
Key: "th=2" and "thre=3"
2e 3e kids 3w 2e ball 2rough 2e 2eater. (saved 14 characters)
Encode the following sentence using a key that you design:
Jack Sprat would eat no fat, his wife would eat no lean. And so between the two of them they licked the platter clean.
Keys: "th=2" "no=3" "jack=4" "sprat=5" "woul=6"
4 5 6d eat 3 fat, his wife 6d eat 3 lean. And so between 2e two of 2em 2ey licked 2e platter clean
