I agree with this saying because I myself ask these questions at night before I go to sleep. I believe that these questions I ask myself make me a better person overall because the answers tell me what I should and shouldn't do. So yes, good quote.

We should every might call ourselves to an account; what infirmity have I mastered today? What passions opposed? What temptation resisted? What virtue acquired? Our vices will abort of themselves if they be brought every day to the shrift.

Gum's step mother's husband was an eccentric man who had three sons. The first was named while he worked as a pea farmer, so he named his first son "snap". The second son was named while he was sitting in front of a roaring fire, so he named the second son "krackle". Finally his third son was born while he worked at a cereal processing plant. What did he name his third son?
He named his third son Gum. Since it was Gum's step mother's husband, that means that he is their dad.

Outside knowledge can enhance an idea.
Why do we sense danger, hope, fear, love , anticipation?
How can you show it in your 2D designs?
How we sense danger, hope, etc. i think is just by instinct. We just know when there is danger, hope, fear, etc.
I believe we can show it in our 2D designs by having facial expressions, depth, and objects. Facially we can see the emotions of the character. Certain objects can enhance the mood of the design.

Private Venture Space Craft: SpaceShipOne, attached to an experimental launch craft. craft like this may allow the public to vacation in space in the not so distant future.
This aircraft may lead to a creation of another craft that can take you to the moon and allow you to walk on the moon. Maybe we could make more discoveries in space.
Technologies that will probably come in the not-so-far future will probably be computers that are really pens. I believe that robotics will be big also. I also think that the first android will be built and walking among us.

One machine can do the work of fifty ordinary men. No machine can do the work of one extraordinary man. -Elbert Hubbard
i think the quote means exactly what it is saying. a machine can out do an ordinary man, but that one extraordinary man will exceed the limitations of a machine.
i agree with this quote because i believe that a person willing to go an extra mile will beat out anyone in his/her way. if you don't push yourself, you're just going to get beaten by a machine.
what comes to mind when i see this quote is the story about the rail spike machine and the rail road worker. the rail road worker challenged the rail road machine to a challenge on who could lay down the most rail spikes. the rail road worker won, but unfortunately died shortly after winning.

my plan to succeed is to work hard and dedicate my free time to my work. what i hope will set me apart from the rest of the pack, is my ability to do what i am told and my habit to get the job done on time.

What are your hopes professionally? Ie: how do you plan on earning a living?
my hopes professionally is to work at a video game industry (any) and work as a graphic designer or animator. if that doesn't work, i'll probably do what my dad does which is product managing at a mining company.
